Background
I took this picture at the Omaha Beach Memorial in Normandy, where the U.S. flag stood tall against the overcast sky. The wind gently flapped the stars and stripes, making them appear to ripple with a quiet strength. It was a powerful, solemn moment. The contrast between the vibrant flag and the calm, reverent atmosphere of the cemetery felt like a tribute to the sacrifice and bravery of those who fought here. Standing there, I couldn't help but feel the weight of history and the deep respect owed to the men who gave everything for freedom. I will never forget.

This fine art photography was taken with my canon EOS R5. The highest quality in production brings out the best in the pictures - whether for your home, your workplace or a holiday flat. With the greatest care and by hand, each individual photo is printed on high-quality, bright white cotton artist paper (Hahnemühle, with 440 Years of experience) and then prepared for further processing.
All processing takes place in Zurich with a local partner.

Prints are NOT framed, please have them professionally framed. I teamed up with the german company Halbe (www.halbe-rahmen.de). They are experts in their making with museum standards.
